By Kenny Mitchell

High school students from all over Bowie County got a very realistic, up-close view of the tragic effects of drinking and driving this morning at the Four States Fair Grounds Arena as a collaborative effort presented Shattered Dreams.

Shattered Dreams gave those students a mock accident scene complete with emergency responders, ambulances, local law enforcement and even a hearse as it gave an authentic representation of what can happens when teens get behind the wheel of a car after they have been drinking.

Area students participated in the scene, acting out the carnage and aftermath of a three car collision, complete with an extrication, injuries and the death of a high school student.
