Trashay Lynett “Shay” Morden

Trashay Lynett “Shay” Morden, 57, of New Boston, Texas, passed from this world on October 9, 2020 due to  complications related to COVID-19.

 

Trashay was born on May 19, 1963 to Eugene and Pearl Wisinger.  She married the love of her life, Jim, on February 17, 1984 and together they built a beautiful family that Shay was so proud of and was fiercely devoted to.  She was employed with NAF Financial Services for 23 years. 

 

Shay loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed her backyard patio.  It was her sanctuary filled with flowers, bird feeders, wind chimes and of course her family.  She absolutely adored being a Nana and spending time with her grandchildren. 

 

Trashay is preceded in death by her grandparents Rayce Hokes and Skeet and Louise Wisinger.  Survivors (all of New Boston, Texas) include her husband of 36 years, Jim Morden; two daughters, Lindsey Morden and her fiancé Frank Cantwell, Christy Peschel and her husband Geoff; parents Eugene and Pearl Wisinger; one brother, Glen Wisinger and wife Lisa; five grandchildren, Alexis Morden, Kaitlyn Peschel, McKinley Peschel, Jameson Ligon and Ian Cantwell; one great grandchild Londyn Forte; her beloved fur baby Ginger and so many other  loved ones and friends. 

 

The family will host an outdoor visitation at Jim and Trashay’s residence located at 2073 State Hwy 98, New Boston, Texas, on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 pm. 

 

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2020, 10:00 am, at Magnolia Cemetery, 1257 CR 4003, New Boston, Texas with Rev. Steve Minter officiating.
