HELEN ELIZABETH BURDEN

Helen Elizabeth Burden, 75, of Texarkana, Texas passed away Monday, March 4, 2019 at a local hospital.

Helen was born August 27, 1943 in New Boston, Texas to Billy and Helen Morris Starrett Berry.  She was a retired Computer Administrator for Red River Army Depot.  Helen was a member of First Baptist Church Moore’s Lane in Texarkana, Texas and the Order of the Eastern Star. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, John William Burden.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, David and Jeanne Burden of Texarkana, Texas; one brother, Billy Berry of Texarkana, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Cynthia and Larry Higgins of Lubbock, Texas; three grandchildren, Rylee Burden, Reagan Burden, and Will Burden; and numerous other relatives and friends. 

Memorial services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas with Rev. Jim Cross officiating.
