CHRISTOPHER LINDSEY ARENDT

Christopher Lindsey Arendt, age 30, of New Boston, Texas passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022 at a Dallas, Texas hospital.

Christopher was born February 4, 1992 in Texarkana, Texas. He was a Manager for Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts. Christopher was a member of Moss Springs Baptist Church in New Boston, Texas. He was a member of 903 Octane and enjoyed spending time with loved ones, playing basketball, working on cars, schooling his siblings in video games, traveling, hiking, fishing, going to car shows and spontaneous adventures. Christopher loved making people laugh. He lived life to the fullest and praised God for his blessings.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lynn and Carolyn Ogle; his step-grandfather, Bill Gibbs; his stepmother-in-law, Lara Blanks; and his grandfather-in-law, Sam Anderson.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Arendt of New Boston; his mother and stepfather, Susan and Mark Gibbs; his father and stepmother, Chris and Laura Arendt; his father-in-law, Homer Blanks, Sr.; his mother-in-law, Kayla Ridgeway; his sister, Candice Seberry and her fiancé, Kody Joyner; two brothers, Cole Arendt and Brandon Scudder and his fiancé, Desiree Martin; three brothers-in-law and sisters-inlaw, Brent and Kristi Black III, Daniel and Stephanie Rios, and Homer and Emily Blanks, Jr.; ten nieces and nephews, Gabriel Seberry, Rhett Seberry, Rosemary Joyner, Cameron Scudder, Brent Black IV, Lillian Black, Warren Rios, Kaydence Lyda, Homer Blanks III, and Salem Blanks; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be 2:00 Saturday, September 24, 2022 at First Baptist Church in New Boston, Texas with Dr. Ken Cox officiating.

Visitation will be held 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 24, 2022 at First Baptist Church in New Boston, Texas.

Cremation carried out under the direction of Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.

Memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation: www.cff.org. The family request that purple be worn, as it was Christopher’s favorite color.
