Abbi Krueger Capps

 

Abbi Krueger Capps, of De Kalb, Texas, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021 in Sulphur Springs, Texas.  She was 63.

 

Abbi was born January 14, 1958 in Texarkana, Arkansas to Billy Walker and Sandra Martin.  She was the City Administrator for De Kalb, Texas and was a member of First United Methodist Church in De Kalb.  

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy Joe Walker and Gary and Sandra Krueger. 

 

She is survived by her husband, Barry Capps of De Kalb, Texas; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Chelsea and Rayyan Patwari of Allen, Texas, Lauren and Caleb Crain of De Kalb, Texas, and Astin Cole of Clarksville, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Shane and Debbie Krueger of Hooks, Texas; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Daphne and David Stiles of Texarkana, Arkansas and Elizabeth McDowell of Austin, Texas; seven grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.  

 

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 26, 2021 at the Maranatha Christian Center in De Kalb, Texas with Rev. Steve McMichael officiating.  

 

Mrs. Capps will lie in state 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.
