It was a great year of high school football in Bowie County, and Vyve Broadband would like to salute all of this year’s Friday Night Vyve Players of the Week winners for outstanding performances throughout the season.
The 2017 Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week Team consists of nine winners from five high schools including: James Bowie High School, De Kalb High School, Maud High School, New Boston High School and Redwater High School. The team featured seven running backs and two quarterbacks, and was made up of eight seniors and one sophomore.
De Kalb running back Jaquan Jackson was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week four times – after Week 1, Week 3, Week 5 and Week 6.
“We are very proud to be a part of the Bowie County community, and to have presented a Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week each week throughout the season,” said Diane Quennoz, Vyve SVP, Marketing and Customer Experience. “We’d like to thank the Bowie County Citizens Tribune for partnering with us, and most importantly, we want to again congratulate each of our Friday Night Vyve Players of the Week for 2017.
