Bailey Obenoskey hurled a shutout from the mound and Caige Croley was in beast mode at the plate, as the James Bowie Pirates shipwrecked the Rivercrest Rebels by a score of 9-0 on Tuesday.

Obenoskey went the distance allowing just three hits and striking out 10 to earn the win.

At the plate, the Pirates pounded the Rebel pitchers for ten hits with the big inning coming in the 6th as James Bowie scored three times with the help of a stolen base by Croley, a walk by Evan Barron, and another stolen base by Noah Woodruff. Barron ended the game with a pair of stolen bases.

Croley led the way with the bat, notching four RBI’s on a pair of hits and Obenoskey aided his own efforts going 3-4 with a pair of runs batted in.

The Pirates will be on the road Friday at Bloomburg, with game time scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
